At a final approval hearing on Thursday, plaintiffs’ attorney Derek Loeser said there were 17 million claims in the Facebook settlement over the Cambridge Analytica scandal — the ‘most we’ve ever seen, and most ever submitted in a class action.’

The number of Facebook users who submitted claims in the $725 million class action settlement over the Cambridge Analytica scandal: 17,762,467.

That’s according to plaintiffs’ lawyers at a Thursday hearing on whether to grant final approval to deal with Facebook’s Meta Platforms Inc.
